Description

Moderately thick, left-handed shell with short, pointed spire, large body whorl, and long siphonal canal. Columella is smooth; spiral ridges in aperture. Spiral row of broad, pointed knobs occurs at shoulder of body whorl; spiral ribs on rest of shell. White, with grayish brown spiral bands and vertical streaks; aperture reddish brown with paler spiral ridges.
